Jeffrey R. Armstrong
is President of Terminals of Kinder Morgan, one of the largest pipeline transportation and energy storage companies in North America. The Kinder Morgan companies include Kinder Morgan Energy Partners, L.P. (NYSE: KMP), Kinder Morgan Management, LLC (NYSE: KMR) and Kinder Morgan, Inc, a private entity.

Mr. Armstrong oversees the nation’s largest independent network of liquids and bulk terminals in North America.  In 2008, Kinder Morgan’s terminals handled nearly 100 million tons of bulk materials and had liquids throughput of almost 600 million barrels.    

Mr. Armstrong joined Kinder Moragn in 2001, following KMP's purchase of the U.S. pipeline and terminal assets of the GATX Corporation, where he spent seven years working as General Manager, East Coast Operations. He previously worked in the Marine tanker industry for Maritime Overseas Corp.

Mr. Armstrong holds a bachelor's degree in Marine Transportation from the U.S. Merchant Marine Academy and a master's degree in business administration from the University of Notre Dame.

Kinder Morgan owns an interest in or operates approximately 37,000 miles of pipelines that transport primarily natural gas, refined petroleum products, CO2 and crude oil; and 180 terminals that store, transfer and handle such products as gasoline, ethanol, coal, petroleum coke and steel. Kinder Morgan, Inc. owns the general partner interest of Kinder Morgan Energy Partners. Kinder Morgan Management is a limited liability company and its only significant assets are the partnership units it owns in KMP.
